Project Control Specialist
JOB DETAILS
Requirements:
· Work location remote
· Must be located within 2 hours of Washington D.C. metro area, Annapolis, or Philadelphia metro area
· Work week Mon-Fri 8 hours a day
Responsibilities:

Provide schedule support for the project management team

Ensure adherence to standard milestone reporting, policies, programs, processes, and scheduling protocols as directed by the project management team and client

Responsible to develop status and analyze detailed critical path schedules, workload, and resource forecasts

Identify project/program milestones and schedule issues early and contribute to the resolutions to ensure the successful execution of projects and programs

Ensure that project schedules are properly baselined throughout the project life cycle

Identify any variances in the project schedule and propose updates and corrective actions needed to get the project back on schedule

Build reports, earned value metrics and schedules to assist in work execution and revise schedules to recover from missed milestones, project changes and emergent events
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher required, or minimum of 7 years relevant business experience is required

PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or equivalent recommended
-
Primavera P6 experience required

Experience working with an Exelon utility preferred

Knowledge of Hyperion, Asset Suite 8, WPT, EPS preferred

Strong technology and analytical skills, including but not limited to Microsoft applications such as Excel, Power BI, Visio etc

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

Ability to work and manage multiple tasks appropriately

Ability to work independently and with team members
